Income Reconciliation Assistant
South Manchester (Hybrid – 2 Days WFH)
Salary: Up to £35,000


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Income Reconciliation Assistant to join a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed wealth management business based in South Manchester. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with data, thrives on accuracy, and takes pride in ensuring financial processes are completed correctly and efficiently.


The Role
Working closely with the Finance and Operations teams, you will support the day-to-day management of income processes across the business. Your focus will be on ensuring revenue is accurately recorded, allocated, and reported, while maintaining strong controls and supporting ongoing business growth.


This is a hands-on, process-driven role rather than a senior leadership position, offering the chance to become a key part of a high-performing finance function.


Key Responsibilities
Income Processing & Reconciliation
*Ensure all income is accurately allocated and categorised across systems
*Reconcile revenue streams including adviser fees, platform income, and commissions
*Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and methodical manner
*Support monthly income reporting and reconciliation processes
Adviser Fees & Commission Support
*Calculate adviser fee rates and commission structures accurately
*Assist in preparing adviser payment information and statements
*Handle queries relating to income allocation and payments
*Maintain clear and consistent records of fee and commission structures
Data & Reporting
*Collate and prepare income data across regions and acquired firms
*Support the production of regular revenue reports
*Ensure data accuracy across back-office and financial systems
*Assist in maintaining structured and reliable reporting processes
Systems & Process Support
*Work with back-office systems (e.g. Intelliflo Office) to manage income data
*Follow and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
*Support integration of newly acquired firms into existing income processes
*Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects within the finance team


About You
*Experience in a finance, operations, or administration role within financial services
*Strong attention to detail with a methodical and process-driven approach
*Good understanding of financial data, fees, and commissions (wealth management experience beneficial)
*Confident working with Excel and handling data
*Organised, reliable, and able to manage routine tasks with accuracy
*Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
*A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
