Job Description:
We are working with a well-established financial planning firm looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their team in London. The business is focused on delivering high-quality, holistic advice and providing strong support to both advisers and clients.
As a Paraplanner, you’ll play a key role in supporting the advice process by producing compliant suitability reports, conducting research, and working closely with advisers to prepare for client meetings. You’ll ensure all recommendations are accurate, tailored, and aligned with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Paraplanner Key Responsibilities
*Prepare accurate, compliant suitability reports and recommendation letters
*Conduct research and analysis on financial products and providers
*Support advisers with technical queries and meeting preparation
*Ensure client files and documentation meet FCA and internal compliance standards
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations and internal procedure
*Use CRM and financial planning systems to maintain accurate records
*Work collaboratively with advisers and administrators to support client service delivery
*Assist with client onboarding, reviews, servicing, and ongoing communications
Skills & Attributes
*Strong technical knowledge of financial planning products and solutions
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate written reports
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Effective communicator with advisers, colleagues, and clients
*Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
*Confident using financial planning software, CRMs, and Microsoft Office
Qualifications & Experience
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
*Previous experience in a Paraplanner or technical support role within financial services
*Familiarity with compliance requirements and advice processes
*Experience working with financial planning tools and CRM systems
