Caretaker – Haymarket Block Management (Part of the X1 Group)

Location: Salford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday
Full-Time | Permanent | £12.71 per hour

Haymarket Block Management, proudly part of the X1 Group, is looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of one of our flagship residential estates.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Estates Team, you will ensure the buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and well-maintained for our residents and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
*General maintenance and minor repair work
*Painting and touch-ups to maintain internal and external appearance
*Small grounds work, such as sweeping and light landscaping
*Bin store management to ensure hygiene and accessibility
*Parcel management for residents
*Maintaining the aesthetics of communal areas
*Weekly fire safety checks and reporting any issues promptly

What We’re Looking For:
*A proactive and hands-on approach
*Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work
*Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
*Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is desirable, but not essential
*A friendly, approachable manner – you’ll be a familiar and trusted face around the estates
