Job Description:
Reed Education are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive Graduates from any subject area to join a specialist secondary-age provision as Full-Time Teaching Assistants, starting after the Easter break.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent or upcoming graduates who are considering a career in teaching, psychology, social work, criminology, youth work, mental health, or education—or simply those who want a meaningful and rewarding role supporting young people.
About the RoleYou will be working with students aged 11–16 who may have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural challenges, or additional learning requirements. The role focuses on building relationships, encouraging engagement, and helping pupils access their learning across a range of subjects.
Graduates often excel in this environment due to their subject knowledge, communication skills, adaptability, and ability to model positive learning behaviours.

Key Responsibilities*Supporting teaching and learning within KS3 and KS4
*Assisting students on a 1:1 and small-group basis
*Helping pupils manage their emotions, behaviour, and routine
*Encouraging engagement in both academic and practical subjects
*Reinforcing learning objectives and assisting with class activities
*Collaborating with teachers and pastoral staff to meet pupil needs
*Being a positive, reliable role model
