Reed Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting supporting pupils with additional needs. This role will begin immediately after the Easter break and will run on a full-time basis.
About the RoleWe are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people who require additional support with their learning, behaviour, and social development. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities*Supporting pupils with day-to-day learning activities
*Providing 1:1 and small-group interventions
*Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support
*Helping to deliver tailored learning plans
*Working collaboratively with teaching staff and support professionals
*Promoting a safe, engaging, and structured environment
Ideal Candidate*Experience supporting children or young people (school, care, SEN, youth work or similar)
*A calm, resilient, and patient approach
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Ability to adapt to changing needs and follow guidance
*A genuine commitment to helping pupils thrive academically and emotionally
