We are currently partnering with a leading London Market brokerage seeking a Marine Broker to join their specialist Marine team. This opportunity would suit a broker with 2+ years’ experience in the Marine insurance market who is looking to further develop their expertise in Hull & Machinery and Marine Liabilities.
The role will involve supporting the placement of North American marine business into the London Market, working closely with senior brokers and underwriters across a range of complex marine risks.Key Responsibilities*Assist with the placement of Marine Hull & Machinery and Marine Liability risks into the London Market
*Work alongside senior brokers on North American marine accounts
*Prepare and present slips, endorsements, and placement documentation
*Liaise with underwriters, producing brokers, and internal teams throughout the placement process
*Support renewals and contribute to market negotiations and strategy
*Maintain strong relationships with London Market underwriters
*Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements*2+ years’ experience as a Marine Broker or within a marine broking team
*Exposure to Hull & Machinery and/or Marine Liability business
*Experience interacting with London Market insurers and underwriters
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Exposure to North American marine business would be advantageous
