Job Title: Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
Location: City of Bristol - hybrid working model
Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 + benefits package!

The Role:
As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will join the Corporate & International team working across diverse clients and sectors. You’ll blend corporate tax compliance and accounting with increasingly sophisticated advisory projects - exactly the mix needed to transition into full M&A tax work. The work will include:
*Corporate tax compliance and tax accounting
*Corporate and shareholder reorganisations
*Acquisition and sale structuring
*Tax due diligence on live transactions
*Demergers and corporate simplifications
*Loss relief planning and group relief strategies
*Corporate interest restriction calculations
*CFC returns and international tax matters
*Tax treatment of deal fees, exceptional items, and complex provisions
*Corporate and deferred tax workings/disclosures (including consolidated groups)
*Direct client and intermediary contact
*Project management on advisory engagements
*Identifying cross-selling opportunities for other tax services
The Individual:
*Minimum 3 years in a tax role with exposure to corporate tax advisory projects
*ATT/CTA and/or ACA qualified
*Strong corporate tax compliance and accounting knowledge
*Hunger to develop M&A and transactional skills
*Project management and client relationship skills
*Alphatax experience preferred but not essential
*Proactive mindset for business development
