Role Description:
The SOC Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the SOC. This includes ensuring the SOC meets service-level objectives, maintaining compliance, coordinating with external stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily SOC operations, ensuring effective monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.

* Define SOC KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks for operational performance and risk visibility.

* Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and career development for SOC personnel.

* Ensure alignment of SOC activities with organizational security policies and regulatory obligations.

* Coordinate with the Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and IT Operations teams for cross-functional collaboration.

* Oversee onboarding of new tooling, integrations, and process automations.

* Lead SOC maturity assessments and drive improvement roadmap initiatives.

* Represent SOC during internal and external audits and executive reporting sessions.

* Maintain readiness for major incident management and crisis communication.
