Key responsibilities include:
*Lead the rollout and successful delivery of the category strategy.
*Drive value through cost-reduction initiatives and efficiency programmes.
*Use data insights to inform decisions and strengthen strategic planning.
*Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple European markets.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic suppliers.
*Identify opportunities to standardise, streamline, and maximise scale advantages across regions.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
*5+ years’ procurement and category management experience from within the food industry.
*Background in protein/poultry would be beneficial.
*Comfortable operating in complex, multi-country environments.
*Strong communicator who performs well in ambiguity.
*Highly organised with strong prioritisation and multitasking skills.
*French is a plus but not essential.
Job Offer
On offer to the candidate:
*c.£70,000-£80,000 pro rata.
*An opportunity to learn and develop in a global environment over a 10 month maternity cover.
*Hybrid working (1-2 days per week in Hertfordshire office)
