CONTRACT ROLE - Media Mix Modelling (MMM) Contractor
| Fully Remote | Up to £550 p/d | Short-Term (12 Days Over 4 Weeks)
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an experienced Media Mix Modelling (MMM) Contractor to support an upcoming engagement, working within an existing Python-based modelling environment.
This is a purely technical, non-client-facing role, focused on extending an existing MMM framework, preparing and validating data, and ensuring the model is ready for execution.
The work is delivery-focused and well-suited to someone comfortable picking up an existing codebase, working independently, and contributing to a fast-moving modelling engagement with minimal oversight.
THE ROLE
As an MMM Contractor, you will:
*Review and update existing Python-based MMM notebooks to incorporate additional media channels
*Prepare and validate input data from multiple sources prior to modelling
*Perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering
*Run, calibrate, and sense-check MMM model outputs
*Support model validation and quality checks to ensure outputs are robust and usable
*Document methodology, assumptions, and any updates to the modelling approach
*Collaborate asynchronously with the internal team, maintaining availability during UK working hours
TECH STACK / REQUIREMENTS
*Proven experience delivering Media Mix Models end-to-end
*Strong Python skills, including working in notebook-based environments (e.g. Jupyter)
*Experience working with existing codebases and extending models
*Experience with data wrangling, transformation, and pipeline preparation
*Familiarity with MMM techniques and frameworks such as:
*Bayesian MMM
*PyMC / PyMC-Marketing
*Robyn (or equivalent)
*Experience working with marketing data (media channels, spend, performance metrics)
*Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
NICE TO HAVE
*Exposure to both B2B and B2C brand environments
*Experience with causal inference or econometrics approaches
*Experience validating MMM outputs against business performance
*Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
*Experience working in remote, async teams
