Passive Fire Engineer / Fire Stopper
Looking for an experienced Passive Fire Engineer to work for a fire alarm company doing re-instatement of fire barriers, Batt and Mastic.
This contract is to correct a large number of small post installations issues around holes being drilled through Passive Fire Barriers.
Most issues are able to be corrected with fireproof sealant, occasionally fire collars or batt will need to be used.
This role can either be offered as a either a Sub-Contractor or a PAYE Fixed Term Contract.
Sub-contract - own van tools and fuel costs - £250 per day. Additional expenses if working outside of the SE London patch.
FTC PAYE - using company van with fuel card, tools - £42000 pro rata.
The client will provide or pay for materials used and parking.
Applicants must be able to identify on site the faults on the fire risk surveys, resolve them and generate the photo’s and reports to prove the non-compliance has been resolved.
The client has a 3 month trial, if successful the position will go perm, most of the work is in the SE London postcode area.
The work is within social housing blocks of flats; any applicant must have no issues passing a DBS check.
For the fixed term contract, you must have a full manual driving licence.
Parking is either in the flat’s car parks (a permit will be issued) or paid against receipts if incurred.
