Accountancy Practice - Senior Client Manager

Job Description:
An established and highly regarded independent firm of specialist accountants, located on the Kent/London border, is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Client Manager to join its growing team.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. The role will involve a balance of compliance, advisory, and relationship management, with scope to make a genuine impact on both clients and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
*Managing a mixed portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact
*Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and associated reporting
*Overseeing tax compliance across personal and corporate clients
*Providing proactive advisory services to support client growth and efficiency
*Supporting business development initiatives and identifying new opportunities
*Mentoring, supervising, and developing junior members of the team

Candidate Profile
*ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong practice experience
*Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy firm
*Strong technical knowledge across accounts, tax, and advisory
*Experience working with doctors, medical professionals, or GP surgeries would be highly advantageous
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
*Commercially aware with a client-focused approach
