Cover Supervisor

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day basis across secondary schools in Barking & Dagenham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school staff who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining flexibility.
The Role:
*Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
*Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task
*Managing classroom behaviour effectively
*Supporting students to complete assigned tasks
*Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress
What We’re Looking For:
*Strong communication and classroom management skills
*Confidence working with secondary school students
*A proactive and adaptable attitude
*Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
*A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
