Job Type: Supply and Long-term Positions Available
Salary: From £14.24 hourly
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid break
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to join a dynamic school in Peterborough. The school operates across three sites and supports pupils with severe and complex needs, including autistic children, with the majority being non-verbal. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide support to students with severe and complex needs.
*Engage in manual handling and personal care as required.
*Adapt to different sites based on daily staffing needs.
*Collaborate with a team to create a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
*Experience in manual handling and personal care is essential.
*Must be open, proactive, resilient, and have a great sense of humour.
*Ability to receive and act on feedback to assess suitability.
*Flexibility to work across different sites as needed.
