Job Description:
Our Client is a long-established business providing insurance and financial services to corporate and private clients. Based in Leicester as a Commercial Insurance Handler, you will work with clients in the East Midlands.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Insurance Handler:
*To broke new business enquiries and renewals.
*To be responsible for ensuring the business process is followed.
*To be responsible for ensuring records are compliant.
*To provide regular management information when requested.
*To carry out all aspects of internal underwriting administration for new cases until handover.
*Undertake specific projects as required.
*Assisting Account Directors/Executives where required and Commercial Insurance Handlers.
*Comply with the Company rules, requirements and procedures.
*Maintain competency as required by Wilson’s.
*Attend courses as directed.
*Develop relationships with preferred insurers.
Qualifications of the Commercial Insurance Handler:
*Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
*Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*Self-motivated and proactive with a results-oriented mindset.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office
*Knowledge of FCA
*Knowledge of Law of Agency, Data Protection Act and money laundering requirements.
*Knowledge of the internal procedures as laid down in the compliance manual.
*Knowledge of the company’s T&C requirements
