Financial Operations Manager
Location: Crewe (Onsite/Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 plus bonus and benefits
Via is supporting a growing organisation in the search for an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of finance operations.
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support month-end processes, including preparation and review of management accounts
*Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
*Review and approve supplier invoices, ensuring compliance and accuracy
*Support procurement processes and cost control initiatives
*Provide financial insight and reporting to support business decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in financial operations and management accounting
*Strong experience with general ledger management and reconciliations
*Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
*Confident reviewing supplier invoices and managing approvals
*Exposure to procurement activities is advantageous - more important is the desire to expand you knowledge into new areas
*Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
*Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
