Pay: £120–£150 per day
The OpportunityA friendly primary school in Preston is looking for a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic full-time role for someone who loves working with KS1 learners and is passionate about building strong foundations in reading, writing, and maths.
Your Role Will Include:*Teaching a Year 1 class full-time
*Planning creative and engaging lessons
*Supporting pupils through the transition from EYFS to KS1
*Working closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality curriculum
*Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
What We’re Looking For:*Experience working in EYFS/KS1 (essential)
*A strong grasp of the Year 1 curriculum
*QTS required – ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply
*A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to teaching
*Ability to create a positive, structured learning environment
