Basic Salary up to 40,000 DOE | OTE £65,000
Our client is a well-established, high-performing franchised main dealership in Worthing, seeking a hands-on, results-driven Used Car Manager to take ownership of a successful used car operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive professional looking to step into a key leadership role with a reputable brand and a thriving business.
I’m currently searching for a motivated and commercially focused Used Car Manager.

The Role
As Used Car Manager, you will be responsible for:
*Developing and delivering sales strategies and budgets across the used car department, accessories, and related services
*Driving performance to achieve sales, financial, and customer satisfaction targets
*Leading, mentoring, and supporting the sales and admin teams
*Managing day-to-day used car operations while ensuring an excellent customer experience
*Maximising digital sales channels to improve lead conversion and customer retention
Key Responsibilities
*Maximise used car sales opportunities through a structured and consistent sales process
*Maintain outstanding customer service standards at all times
*Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
*Work closely with the manufacturer to achieve volume and KPI targets
*Monitor and control performance against budget and targets
*Ensure efficient use of all resources, including staff, systems, and stock
Ideal Candidate Profile
*Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or Sales Manager within a franchised main dealership
*Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
*Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
*Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset
*Professional, personable, and an excellent communicator
*Full UK driving licence essential
