Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join the Development Management team, playing a key role in shaping Knowsley’s future growth. You will manage high-profile residential and commercial applications while providing expert advice to Members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:*Manage complex major planning applications
*Prepare reports and present at Planning Committee
*Lead negotiations with developers, including Section 106 agreements
*Liaise with stakeholders and partner agencies
*Support planning appeals and enforcement activity
About You:*Strong experience in Development Management
*Excellent knowledge of planning legislation and policy
*Confident communicator with strong analytical skills
*Able to manage complex workloads and deadlines
