  • England,London,City of London
  • Full Time, Permanent
  • £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Job Description:
Fashion - Business Development / Sales Manager
London - Covering the UK and Europe | £60-70K + bonus + uncapped commission
So… what’s the role?
We’re working with a seriously exciting, fast-growing apparel business (family-run, global reach, big ambitions) that’s on the hunt for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to help take things to the next level.
This isn’t your typical sales role. It’s about being strategic, collaborative, and commercially sharp - someone who can spot opportunities, build relationships, and turn conversations into long-term partnerships.
Think less "spray and pray" and more targeted, high-impact business development
A bit about the business
*Established in 1989, now a third-generation family business
*Global player producing 40M+ units annually
*Trusted by major retailers (think the big names you already know)
*Strong heritage in tailoring, now expanding into casualwear & new categories
*Big growth plans - Including significant expansion in the UK and Europe
They’ve got the infrastructure, the product, and the reputation… now they need the right person to unlock new opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
*Winning new business across the UK & Europe (especially Europe)
*Building relationships with key decision-makers in major retail brands
*Acting as a frontline ambassador for the business - bringing the full story to life
*Collaborating closely with design, product & sourcing teams to create winning ranges
*Developing tailored product proposals that actually land with customers
*Keeping things organised with weekly activity updates
*You’ll report into the GM, with strong links into global product teams.
What makes this role different?
*You won’t be working in a silo - collaboration is everything here
*You’ll partner closely with an established team (no lone wolves)
*It’s about insight-led selling, not just contacts
*Huge opportunity to shape the growth strategy
*Real autonomy, but with strong support behind you
What they’re looking for (must-haves)
*Strong understanding of the clothing retail landscape (both commercial + product trends)
*A natural ability to build trust at all levels
*Confident, creative communicator who can open doors & start conversations
*Experience from either:
*Brand/retail side OR
*Supply chain/manufacturing side
*A genuinely collaborative mindset (this is non-negotiable)
Nice-to-haves
*Experience working in a global organisation
*A network of existing industry contacts
*Background in buying, design, sourcing, or production
*Any Scandinavian or German language skills (big plus for future growth plans)
What’s in it for you?
*£60-70K base salary
*Performance bonus + uncapped commission
*Huge growth opportunity as the business scales across Europe
*Chance to work with a modern, forward-thinking leadership team
*A real voice in shaping strategy - not just executing it
Bottom line
If you’re someone who understands the market, loves building relationships, and wants to be part of a business that’s genuinely going places - this could be a very smart move.
