Business Administrator - Temp to Perm
Location: Marks Tey - Own transport is preferred due to location of the company.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Pay: £12.71 - £13.93 per hour (DOE)
Temporary to Permanent
Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-driven administrator looking for a long-term opportunity? We’re recruiting for a Business Administrator to join a busy and friendly team, supporting essential daily operations within a growing business. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering the perfect pathway into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Due to an interview promotion, we are now looking to hire a enthusiastic administrator to backfill the position and support the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
As the Business Administrator, you will play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly. Duties include:
*Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional and timely responses
*Preparing and issuing customer quotations, including proactive follow-up for feedback
*Processing sales orders and monitoring supplier deliveries to ensure deadlines are met
*Checking and authorising supplier order confirmations
*Managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including responding to general inbox enquiries
*Maintaining accurate and well-organised document storage and filing systems
*Raising management reports such as: Sales Work in Progress, Incoming PO Reports, Production Resource Reports
*Providing general administrative support across all departments when required
Essential Skills
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Highly organised with strong time management
*An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
*Meticulous with attention to detail
*Able to work effectively under pressure
*Skilled at prioritising workload
*Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities
Experience
Previous administrative experience is beneficial, but not essential - full training will be provided for the right person with the right attitude.
