About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within the Early Years setting of a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education to play a key role in supporting young learners during the most important stages of their development.
You will work closely with the class teacher to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that supports children’s learning through play and structured activities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
*Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning and development
*Assist in planning and delivering engaging, play-based activities
*Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
*Help maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment
*Observe and record pupil progress in line with EYFS framework
*Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements:
*Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) – essential
*Experience working within an Early Years setting
*Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
*A caring, patient, and proactive approach
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
