Setting: Mainstream Primary School
A vibrant primary school in Darwen is looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their team for the full academic year starting in September. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils through a key stage transition and preparing them for KS2.
You will deliver creative and structured lessons, support SATs preparation, and foster a positive learning atmosphere where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
*Prepare pupils for end-of-KS1 assessments
*Track and monitor progress to ensure strong outcomes
*Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
*Contribute to wider school life and initiatives
Requirements:
*QTS and recent KS1 teaching experience
*Strong knowledge of Year 2 curriculum and assessment
*Ability to motivate and inspire young learners
