Job Description:
Child Protection Lawyer
Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 6-9-month initial contract
Southwest Local Authority
Hybrid & Remote Working Available
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a caseload of child protection and safeguarding matters.
*Conduct advocacy in the Family Court on behalf of the Council.
*Advise on and handle:
*Care and supervision proceedings
*Pre-proceedings and PLO matters
*Deprivation of Liberty and Secure Accommodation orders
*Adoption and placement orders
About You
*Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive.
*Have strong experience in Child Protection / Public Children Law.
*Demonstrate experience of advocacy and court representation.
