Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Support & Product Specialist to join our team in Manchester. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in intruder alarms and panels, who thrives on delivering exceptional customer support and product training. The position involves a mix of office-based work, site visits, and collaboration with various teams to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service and expertise.
Responsibilities
*Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
*Conduct on-site visits to deliver product training and technical assistance to customers.
*Collaborate with the sales team to support customer needs and ensure seamless product integration.
*Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to intruder alarms and panels.
*Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to customers, ensuring they are confident in using our products.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range and industry developments.
*Act as a key point of contact for technical inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
Qualifications
*Proven experience with intruder alarms and panels is essential.
*Experienced in installing and a great understanding of Intruder alarms
*Strong technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions to diverse audiences.
*Proficiency in using virtual communication tools such as Microsoft Teams.
*A proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
*Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and training sessions.
Day-to-Day
*Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support through various communication channels.
*Visit customer sites to deliver hands-on product training and technical assistance.
*Work closely with the sales team to address customer needs and provide technical expertise during the sales process.
*Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
*Stay updated on product developments and industry trends to provide informed support and training.
*Prepare and deliver training materials tailored to customer requirements.
