About the RoleA supportive primary school in Preston is seeking a dedicated General Classroom Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children succeed and supporting learning across the school.
You will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support for pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Your Responsibilities*Supporting learning across the classroom
*Assisting with small group work and 1:1 activities
*Helping to prepare resources and set up activities
*Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
*Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school staff
*Providing general support during lessons, transitions, and break times
What We’re Looking For*Experience working with children in a school setting (preferred)
*A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s education
*Ability to commit to Monday–Friday, 08:45am–3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
