Level 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2) – Blackburn

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackburn, starting after the Easter break.
The Role:You will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 (KS2), working closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support to individuals and small groups. This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, during term time.
Key Responsibilities:*Supporting teaching and learning across KS2

*Delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy

*Providing one-to-one support where required

*Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation

*Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion

*Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate Will:*Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

*Have experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS2

*Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

*Be patient, proactive and enthusiastic

*Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
