Job Description:
Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant in Wigan!We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join us as full-time Primary and Secondary Teaching Assistants across Wigan, with roles starting in April 2026.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students — particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) — helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether you have previous SEN experience or a passion for supporting young people, this is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities*Provide focused 1:1 support and lead small group interventions
*Assist with planning and delivering tailored, engaging lessons
*Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development
*Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour

*Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience
*Have strong communication and teamwork skills
*Are proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
*Live in or can easily commute to Wigan and nearby areas
