We are supporting a private client, an independent, UK-wide professional services business in recruiting a Trainee Accountant. You will be mentored directly by an experienced business professional who is passionate about developing talent from the ground up.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious A-level leaver (or graduate) to gain hands-on experience while studying towards AAT, with a clear pathway to ACA and long-term progression as you grow with the business.
What you’ll do:
*Support preparation of accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns
*Learn accounting systems and client processes
*Gain exposure to tax and compliance work
*Build strong client relationships as you develop
What we’re looking for:
*Strong A-level results (A/A* preferred) or a relevant degree
*Genuine interest in accountancy and finance
*High attention to detail and willingness to learn
*Confident communicator
*Based locally to Ilkley, West Yorkshire
*Motivated to study AAT and progress to ACA
