About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our growing team, covering London and the South East. This is a field-based role involving the servicing, maintenance, installation, and inspection of portable fire extinguishers and associated fire safety equipment across a variety of client sites, including high-security environments.

Key Responsibilities*Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards (BS 5306)
*Conduct routine inspections and provide detailed service reports
*Identify and rectify faults or compliance issues
*Advise clients on fire safety requirements and best practices
*Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
*Maintain accurate records and documentation
*Represent the company professionally at all times

Requirements*Proven experience as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer (essential)
*Previous experience working in high-security clearance buildings (essential)
*Relevant certifications (e.g. BAFE, FETA, or equivalent)
*Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
*Full UK driving licence
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Willingness to undergo security vetting as required

Desirable*Experience working in government, defence, or other secure facilities
*Additional fire safety qualifications (e.g. alarms, emergency lighting)
