Steel FixerExeter, Devon | £24 - 26 per hour | 8am - 6pm | Monday-Friday | 6 Months Temporary | Join a commercial construction project in Exeter
IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting multiple experienced steel fixers to join a commercial construction site in Exeter. This is a 6 month contract offering the chance to work on high-quality commercial projects.
Key Duties*Reading and interpreting construction drawings to identify required reinforcement layouts.
*Cutting, bending, and shaping steel bars and mesh in line with project specifications.
*Accurately positioning steel reinforcement within formwork prior to concrete pours, ensuring correct placement and alignment.
*Securing reinforcement using tying wire, clamps, or welding methods to maintain strength and stability.
Requirements*Proven steel fixing experience within the construction industry.
*Blue cscs card
*Reliable, consistent, and strong work ethic.
What We Offer*Competitive hourly rate: £24-26 per hour (CIS available)
*Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm
*PPE and tools provided at site
*Possible long term work available after first phase is complete
