Warehouse Manager Chadwell St Mary, Essex
Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at a busy logistics warehouse based in Chadwell St Mary. This role involves managing the shipment of specialist and military vehicles being prepared for overseas transport to locations such as Cyprus and other international sites.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing a small team, ensuring vehicles are safely loaded into containers, and overseeing approximately 4 container shipments per day.
Key Responsibilities*Managing day-to-day warehouse operations
*Supervising warehouse staff loading vehicles into shipping containers
*Ensuring vehicles are safely secured and positioned correctly for transport
*Overseeing approximately 4 container shipments per day
*Ensuring all shipments are prepared to a high standard and on schedule
*Maintaining health & safety standards within the warehouse
*Coordinating with logistics teams and transport providers
*Assisting with loading when required in a hands-on capacity
Requirements*Must hold a full UK driving licence
*Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience
*Physically fit and able to move around vehicles and containers
*Comfortable working in tight spaces, including squeezing in and around vehicles
*Strong organisational and leadership skills
*Good attention to detail to ensure safe and secure loading
Desirable (Not Essential)*FLT / Forklift experience
*Experience working with vehicle logistics or container loading
*Experience within logistics, shipping, or export environments
