Finance Assistant (Temporary)
22–30 hours per week | (days negotiable) and hybrid working available
8-week assignment
I am currently supporting one of my clients based in Norwich with the recruitment of a Temporary Finance Assistant for an initial 8-week assignment. The role offers flexible part-time hours of 22–30 hours per week, with specific working days open to discussion.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy finance team and provide essential support across purchase and sales ledger activities.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase and sales invoices, including scanning, matching to purchase orders, and resolving invoice queries.
*Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
*Processing miscellaneous payments as required.
*Populating spreadsheets and assisting with routine finance tasks to support the wider ledger teams.
Person Specification
*Previous experience in a finance assistant or accounts administration role within a busy office environment.
*Confident user of computerised finance systems.
*Strong organisational skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
*Comfortable using Excel and maintaining data within spreadsheets.
