Job Description:
A prestigious Legal 500 firm with an award-winning Corporate Commercial team is seeking a Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor or Partner to join them in their busy Eastbourne office. This role involves mentoring and leadership responsibilities within a well-established team supported by junior lawyers and administrative staff.
The successful Corporate Commercial Solicitor will be responsible for a varied case load to include:
Key Responsibilities:**Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
*Management buy-outs and buy-ins
*Private equity investments
*Corporate governance
*Administration sales/purchases
*Corporate restructuring
*Shareholders’ agreements
*Joint ventures
*IT licensing, support, and maintenance agreements
*Terms and conditions of business
*Agency and distribution agreements
*Bespoke commercial contracts
*Intellectual Property agreements/contracts/licenses (excluding trademarks or patent applications)
The successful Corporate Commercial Solicitor will offer the following skillset/background:
Required Qualifications/Skills:*Experience: 4+ years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law from a quality law firm
*Skills: Strong technical skills in line with experience, commercial awareness, excellent communication, and ideally some leadership or mentoring experience
*Attributes: Career motivated and committed to personal and professional development
