Job Description:
About the Role
If you’ve ever looked at a charity campaign and thought, "I could have done that better — and with far fewer stock photos of people holding mugs," then keep reading.
We’re looking for a Fundraising & Marketing Manager who can lift a growing charity’s visibility (and income) to the next level. You’ll be steering fundraising strategy, shaping campaigns, working your magic on supporter engagement, and leading a talented bunch across fundraising, marketing and customer services — all while keeping the place compliant, creative and occasionally sane.
Think of it as the perfect blend of head, heart and spreadsheets, with just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Driving income growth across voluntary giving, legacies, grants and community fundraising.
*Building and delivering impactful fundraising and marketing campaigns — the kind that make people say "that was actually really good."
*Leading and developing an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team.
*Overseeing CRM, digital channels, PR, branding and supporter journeys (yes, all the fun stuff).
*Working with partners, media, volunteers, community groups and everyone in between.
*Ensuring compliance, quality, and alignment with a five-year strategic plan that you’ll be right in the thick of delivering.
Who You Are
You’re someone who can:
*Turn strategy into action and action into income.
*Talk to donors, stakeholders and colleagues without needing subtitles.
*Make data-led decisions without falling asleep mid-spreadsheet.
*Juggle multiple priorities with the calm of a monk and the determination of someone who’s dealt with printers before.
*Bring creativity, leadership and a healthy dose of common sense.
If you’ve personally led a fundraising campaign that raised around £200k and can talk about it without using the phrase "we just got lucky," you’re off to a strong start.
The Essentials
To apply, you must submit:
Your CV, and
A supporting letter explaining:
*How you meet the Person Specification, and
*Details of a fundraising campaign you personally led, including:
*what it aimed to achieve
*what you actually did
*and the income delivered (circa £200k).

Applications missing this supporting letter will not be considered — think of it like trying to enter a nightclub without ID. The answer will always be no.
Interview Process
A 2–3 stage process, possibly including a presentation. Nothing terrifying — unless you forget your notes.
Interested?
If you’re ready to lead, build, influence and grow — and can bring equal parts strategic brainpower and creative edge — then we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now, and let’s see what you can do.
