Job Description:
Cobalt Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with an established managing agent in the appointment of a Senior Facilities Manager, overseeing a portfolio of commercial assets across the South of the UK.
This is a key role within a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment, where Facilities Management works closely alongside Property, Asset and Investment teams.
The successful individual will take responsibility for operational delivery, compliance, and contractor management across multiple sites, while ensuring a high-quality experience for tenants.
This role offers excellent exposure across a diverse portfolio and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
*Take responsibility for the day-to-day facilities management of a multi-site commercial portfolio, ensuring high operational standards across all assets
*Oversee delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with SLAs and performance standards
*Manage both hard and soft FM services, including M&E, fabric, cleaning, security, and waste management
*Conduct regular site inspections to ensure assets are maintained to a high standard and identify areas for improvement
*Lead on health & safety compliance, including risk assessments, fire safety management, audits, and statutory obligations
*Ensure all compliance documentation is maintained in line with current legislation and industry standards (including SFG20)
*Support the preparation and ongoing management of service charge budgets, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies
*Manage contractor performance, ensuring KPIs are met and continuous improvement is driven across service partners
*Act as a key point of contact for occupiers, delivering a high level of customer service and responsiveness
*Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
*Support procurement activities and onboarding of contractors in line with company procedures
*Respond effectively to emergencies and ensure clear communication and resolution of issues
As the successful applicant, you will demonstrate a strong background in commercial facilities management, with experience overseeing multi-site portfolios and managing both hard and soft services.
You will have a solid understanding of health & safety compliance and service charge budgeting, alongside the ability to manage contractors and deliver against KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
IOSH certification is essential, with NEBOSH or IWFM membership advantageous.
A full UK driving license is required due to travel across the portfolio.
