Ready to take full ownership of a finance function and make an instant impact?
I’m supporting a growing SME in Peterborough who are looking for a hands-on Interim Finance Manager to step in during a key period.
This is a broad, autonomous role where you’ll run the finance function end-to-end, supported by a Finance Assistant.
The Role
You’ll be the go-to for all things finance, combining day-to-day control with commercial insight.
Key responsibilities:
*Full ownership of the finance function within an SME environment
*Managing month-end close, reporting, and financial accuracy
*Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
*Supporting year-end and audit processes
*Business partnering with senior leadership
*Managing and developing a Finance Assistant
*Driving process improvements and adding structure where needed
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE candidates considered
*SAP S/4HANA experience is key for this role, to speed up handover/training and to hit the ground running
*Proven experience in a hands on, broad finance role in an SME environment
*Strong hands-on approach with attention to detail
*Available immediately or at short notice
This is a site based role, working from their Peterborough office. Initially expected to be for at least 2-3 months, with a possibility of extension.
