Role Profile
Provision of financial information and commercial insight; supporting the Operating Plan process (including 3/5-year plans, budgets and forecasts) and performing a variety of month end processes and activities to ensure stakeholders have accurate and timely management information for aligned ICAEW departments.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensure that the cost centres/ areas for which they are responsible are closed timely and accurately according to the month end timetable. 
* Full responsibility for budgeting and forecasting for specific cost centres including gaining good knowledge and understanding of the divisional staff costs/ FTEs, associated costs of sales and overheads. 
* Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to provide insights into business performance, trends, and variances against budgets and forecasts. 
* Work closely with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) to continuously review and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 
* Ownership of own personal and career development through on-the-job coaching and up-skilling
Candidate Profile
Requirements include:
* At least part-qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA)  
* Ability to present monthly results and forecasts/budgets to senior management 
* Numerate, articulate and logical  
* Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills 
* Collaborative and customer service focused
