Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Logistics & Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day running of a growing haulage business. This is a key role with the opportunity to shape processes and contribute to the company’s development as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
*Answering phone calls and handling general enquiries
*Managing and tracking invoices
*Receiving PODs (Proof of Delivery) from drivers and distributing to customers
*Coordinating with subcontractors
*Booking loads and collections
*Managing client requests and maintaining strong relationships
*Providing general administrative and operational support
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
*Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Desirable:
*Previous experience in the haulage/logistics industry
*Familiarity with transport or logistics systems
*Experience improving or setting up operational processes
Personal Attributes

*This role offers the opportunity to grow with the business
*The successful candidate will play a key part in preparing the company for expansion and larger contracts
Initially remote/home-based.

Working Hours
*20 hours per week (initially)
*Opportunity to increase hours as the business grows and new contracts are secured
Working Schedule
*Monday to Friday
*Preference for morning hours (exact schedule to be agreed with the successful candidate)

*Open to discussion depending on experience
