Your Role and Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
*Supporting pre-construction activities by visiting sites, carrying out surveys, and assisting in the preparation of specifications, schedules, and scopes of work
*Collaborating with the Procurement Team throughout tender processes, including analysing submissions and contributing to recommendations
*Producing detailed cost plans, estimates, and formal client submissions for allocated projects
*Monitoring project progress through site visits to validate supply chain invoices and payment applications
*Reviewing quotations and managing variations to ensure cost efficiency and value for money
*Administering project instructions, variations, and managing contingency and risk allowances
*Ensuring timely and accurate administration of supply chain orders and payments
*Maintaining accurate cost and revenue forecasts in collaboration with central commercial and finance teams
*Ensuring all commercial activities are carried out in line with company policies, procedures, and internal systems
*Promoting and adhering to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities

What You Will Need to Apply:
To be considered for this position, applicants should possess prior experience within a Quantity Surveying or similar commercial role, ideally within the construction or facilities management sector. A strong understanding of commercial processes, cost management, and project lifecycle is essential.
Candidates should hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, alongside a full UK driving licence. Working towards, or holding, a professional qualification such as RICS would be advantageous.
You should demonstrate strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and commercial systems, along with excellent organisational and communication abilities. The ability to manage workloads effectively, prioritise tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team will be key to success in this role.
