Part-Time Temporary Accounts Assistant – Cambridge
Pay: £14-£16 per hour
Location: Cambridge
Contract: Approx 3 months - flexible depending on business needs)
Hours: Part-time, approx. 20–25 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our client in Cambridge on a temporary part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance or administrative experience who is looking for flexible work in a friendly and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping activities
*Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
*Supporting monthly reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records and databases
*Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding payment queries
*Providing general administrative support to the finance department
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration
*Is confident using accounting software (e.g. Sage, Quickbooks, Xero or similar)
*Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
*Communicates clearly and works well both independently and as part of a team
*Can manage their workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
