Job Description:
We’re working with a highly respected, independent real estate consultancy that advises on some of the UK’s most complex, high-value and strategically sensitive assets. With deep expertise across planning, advisory and transactional services, the firm partners with clients to unlock value through insight-led, collaborative solutions.
They are now looking to hire a Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving strategic growth across the business.
The RoleThis is a pivotal position sitting at the heart of the firm’s growth agenda. You’ll work closely with senior partners and client leads to shape and deliver a data-led, client-focused business development strategy, aligned to priority markets and sectors.
You’ll bring structure, insight and commercial rigour to BD activity - helping leaders spot opportunities, strengthen relationships and execute joined-up, conviction-led initiatives across the firm.
Key Responsibilities*Shape and deliver end-to-end BD activity aligned to priority sectors and growth ambitions
*Partner with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships and drive cross-selling
*Use data, market intelligence and client insight to inform strategy, highlight risks and guide decision-making
*Act as a voice of the client, ensuring BD plans reflect real commercial needs and long-term objectives
*Maintain accurate BD pipelines, dashboards and CRM data, providing clear reporting on performance and ROI
*Collaborate with marketing, finance, bids and data teams on integrated campaigns and client initiatives
*Support market-facing activity, including events, pitches and thought-led content
About You*Proven experience in business development or marketing within professional services (built environment exposure beneficial but not essential)
*Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and influencing at partner level
*Commercially astute, with strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
*Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
*Highly organised, proactive and comfortable operating in a matrix environment
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality client materials
