POWER BI ENGINEERLONDON/HYBRIDUP TO £55,000This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing data function where your work will directly shape reporting capability and analytical maturity across the business. If you enjoy owning end-to-end Power BI delivery, partnering closely with commercial teams, and driving data-led decision making, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Power BI Engineer will:* Design and deliver Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets that support business decision making.
* Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable visual analytics.
* Build and maintain semantic models, including measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and optimised DAX.
* Work with data engineering teams to source, transform, and model data from multiple systems.
* Use Power Query to shape and prepare data for reporting.
* Implement governance standards including row-level security, workspace management, and performance optimisation.
* Uphold data quality and best-practice modelling across the Power BI environment.
* Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders, presenting insights in a clear and accessible way.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:* Strong commercial experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
* Confident writing DAX and building performant semantic models.
* Strong SQL capability and the ability to work with complex datasets.
* Experienced connecting Power BI to a range of data sources including SQL databases, Azure environments, Excel, and APIs.
* Skilled in Power Query for data transformation.
* Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
* Experience in the retail sector is beneficial.
* Awareness of the wider Microsoft data ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric, is a plus.APPLY BELOW!
