Job Description:
Role: Property Manager (Block Management)
Location: Hove
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 9:00am - 5:30pm / Friday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a well-established organisation based in Hove.
This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and maintenance, while acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

The Requirements:
*Previous experience in block or property management
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities
*Good understanding of property legislation and compliance
*Confident dealing with clients, leaseholders, and contractors
*Proactive and solution-focused approach
The Role:
*Acting as the main point of contact for clients, leaseholders, and stakeholders
*Managing planned maintenance schedules and ensuring works are completed on time
*Conducting regular site inspections and following up on required actions
*Overseeing reactive maintenance and resolving issues efficiently
*Managing block insurance and handling claims where required
*Attending meetings including AGMs and board meetings (some evenings required)
*Ensuring compliance with lease obligations and relevant legislation
*Overseeing health & safety requirements, including fire risk assessments
*Managing major works programmes and liaising with surveyors
*Reviewing service contracts and supplier performance
*Coordinating parking arrangements and permit management
*Seeking legal advice where required and ensuring compliance actions are taken
