About Us
We are seeking a driven and people-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our Cambridge office within our established Construction Trades & Labour team. In this role, your focus will be on building relationships and providing staffing solutions across Cambridgeshire.
You will be developing new business and managing existing accounts across a wide portfolio of construction roles, including: Bricklayers, Carpenters, Electricians, Forklift Drivers, Groundworkers, Joiners, Labourers, Painters & Decorators, Plant Operators, Plumbers, Traffic Marshals, as well as senior site leaders such as Forepersons, Site Supervisors and Site Managers. This is a sales-driven role where you will enjoy uncapped commission on top of your base salary.

Your new role
The responsibilities of a Recruitment Consultant within Construction Trades & Labour include:
*Making sales calls to prospective clients across the construction sector
*Developing and maintaining strong relationships with site managers, project teams, procurement leads and other key decision makers
*Engaging in face-to-face meetings with clients across active construction sites and offices
*Sourcing, screening and placing skilled tradespeople and labourers into temporary and permanent roles
*Ensuring compliance, managing worker documentation and producing required reports
*Working to daily targets and KPIs to achieve your financial goals and contribute to the growth of the team and broader Hays business
