Job Description:
Your new company
A well-established and successful manufacturing business with an ever evolving range of products, and international sales.
Your new role
You will develop and manage the Demand Forecasting process, taking input from Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams, to create a detailed rolling forecast that will drive the production plan.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of demand forecasting within a retail or manufacturing business. Strong Excel skills are essential (including Pivot Tables and Vlookup), and experience of ERP systems is also an advantage. You will be accustomed to taking historical data, and building a forecast using inputs from other stakeholders to steadily improve demand forecast accuracy. Experience of forecasting for long range planning, as well as short-term replenishment is also an advantage, as is exposure to seasonality, sales events, and other effects that can be modelled and used to drive accuracy. Experience of managing replenishment for e-commerce partners (eg Amazon) is also an advantage.
What you’ll get in return
Competitive salary to suit experience, £35-40k as a guide, plus benefits. Please note this role is based on-site, Monday to Friday.
The role is also a good time to join the company while it goes through investment in systems and business processes that will build on their strong foundations, and support further growth. If you are looking for a role that will help you progress from Demand or Inventory Planning into broader S&OP leadership, please apply.
