Art Teacher
An ’Outstanding’ school is Merton is looking for an Art Teacher to join their thriving department from September 2026. The school teaches various Art subjects such as Art & Design, Graphic Design, and Photography at GCSE and A Level and is looking for someone with a specialism in one of these areas.

*Art Teacher, Graphic Design Teacher, Photography Teacher
*Inner London MPS1-UPS3 + TLR (Size depending on experience),
*September 2026 - Full-time and permanent contract,
*Teach across KS3,4, and 5
*Plan your lessons to meet the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance,
*Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons,
*ECT’s and experienced teachers encouraged,
Art Teacher - Person Specification
*UK QTS - Essential
*Strong understanding of teaching standards,
*Art related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from reputable university,
*If not a degree strong experience in a relevant field,
*Ambitious and driven personality,
*Great communication skills,
*Desire to progress.
