Job Title: Children’s Support Worker
Location: Brighton
Salary: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Children’s Support Workers to join our team in Brighton and surrounding areas. This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with a range of needs, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling lives in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
*Promote emotional well-being, independence, and personal development
*Support with daily routines, including education, activities, and appointments
*Build positive, trusting relationships with service users
*Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
*Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals
Requirements:
*Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children or young people in the UK
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
*Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Desirable (but not essential):
*Restraint training (e.g. MAPA, CPI, or equivalent)
*Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or Childcare
