An established and highly regarded multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, working on a broad range of projects across the UK.
The Role
You will join a collaborative planning team, supporting on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The role offers exposure to all aspects of the planning process, with responsibilities including:
*Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
*Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy research
*Supporting the preparation of planning statements and technical reports
*Liaising with clients, local authorities, and external consultants
*Monitoring changes in planning policy and relevant legislation
About You
*A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
*A genuine interest in pursuing a career in planning and working towards MRTPI accreditation
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Good organisational ability with strong attention to detail
*A proactive and positive approach to learning and development
*A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential
