About the Company
My client is a well-established, independent estate and letting agency with over 40 years’ experience and a strong local presence across Peterborough and the surrounding areas. Built on values of trust, professionalism and service excellence, the business has an excellent reputation and a collaborative, high-energy team culture.
Due to ongoing business activity and fluctuations across branches, the Crowland office is now looking to add an additional Senior Sales Negotiator to the team. This is not a replacement role, but a growth hire to support continued performance and pipeline development.
The Role – Senior Sales Negotiator
This role will suit a confident, motivated and commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. You will play a key part in driving instructions, negotiating sales and creating momentum within the branch.
My client is looking for an order-maker, not an order-taker - someone proactive, self-disciplined and hungry to succeed, who can spot opportunities, handle objections confidently and build a pipeline from day one.
Key Responsibilities
*Negotiate sales offers and progress transactions through to completion
*Proactively build and manage a strong sales pipeline
*Identify and maximise new business opportunities
*Handle objections confidently and creatively
*Deliver a consistently high level of client service
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive branch performance
*Maintain accurate records across internal systems
*Actively contribute to a positive, energetic and professional office environment
Role Requirements
Essential
*Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
*Proactive, self-motivated and money-driven mindset
*Confident prospecting and pipeline development ability
*Creative thinking with the ability to spot opportunities
*Tenacious and resilient approach to sales
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable
*Experience within residential estate agency
*Ability to list properties or carry out valuations
*Previous management or senior-level experience
Candidates without direct estate agency experience will be considered if they can demonstrate a strong, proven sales background with transferable skills.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
*Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 (open to discussion for the right candidate)
*Commission:*Pool commission structure
*7% payable once £125,000 is cleared
*10% payable once £175,000 is cleared
(Currently a two-person pool, changing with this hire)

*Pay reviews as the employee progresses
Working Hours
*Monday – Friday: 8:45am – 5:30pm
*30-minute unpaid lunch
*Two short breaks per day
*Alternate Saturdays: 8:50am – 4:00pm
*Saturday swaps allowed with colleagues
